The craft process
From fabric to finished piece
- 01 Sourcing
Shweshwe, printed cotton and wool blends bought from South African suppliers. - 02 Pattern
Motifs redrawn to scale so the geometry sits correctly on each cut. - 03 Sewing
Cut and stitched in-studio by a small team of seamstresses, in runs of ten to twenty. - 04 Finishing
Hand-checked seams, concealed zips, and labelled with the tradition that inspired it.
